G. Chipstead Faircloth has been a
Director and the Secretary of the
Company since October 1999 and
Executive Vice-President of the
Company since January 1999. From
January 1998 through December 1998,
Mr. Faircloth served the Company as
a consultant. Mr. Faircloth is
primarily responsible for designing
and executing the Company's national
business development and market
penetration strategy. He also
manages all client relationships for
the Company. Mr. Faircloth is a
veteran health care executive and
consultant. Much of his thirty-one
(31) year career has been spent in
developing cardiovascular and other
clinical programs particularly aimed
at comprehensive, coordinated
patient care and disease
management. He has specific
experience in physician practices,
hospitals, health care joint
ventures, and new program design and
development. Prior to establishing
his own consulting firm in 1998, he
was a representative of Inglesby
Financial Group from October 1997 to
December 1998 and was the Executive
Director of the Heart and Lung Group
of Savannah from June 1993 to July
1997, where he helped recruit, and
worked with, Dr. Gordon.
From 1992 to 1993 he was a senior
consultant with John Goodman and
Associates, a health care consulting
firm, and worked with such clients
as Texas Heart Institute, Sequoia
Heart Institute, Cardiovascular
Consultants of Kansas City (a
founder of Mid America Heart
Institute), and Yale School of
Medicine Department of Cardiology.
From 1988 to 1992, he was CEO of
Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga,
Tennessee where he was involved in
the formation of the Chattanooga
Heart Institute and a variety of
health assessment and education
programs. Prior to 1988, he held
various health care executive
positions in Louisiana, Tennessee,
and Georgia.
Mr. Faircloth received his Master of
Business Administration and Master
of Health Administration degrees
from Georgia State University in
1975 where he was recognized as a
Michael C. Carlos Scholar. He also
has a Bachelor of Business
Administration degree in finance
from the University of Georgia,
which was conferred in 1971. He has
been a member of numerous health
care and community service boards
and organizations. During his
tenure with the Company, Mr.
Faircloth has served as a co-author
of a number of abstracts and
manuscripts and has made a number of
invited presentations.
