SHIRLEY
SALMON, BA
Shirley
Salmon is Manager of Customer Service, is the
Company manager responsible for
executing the Company's customer
service activities and corporate
communications for enrolled Program
participants.
In 1953 Ms. Salmon obtained her
Bachelor of Arts degree from the
University of the Witwatersrand, in
Johannesburg, South Africa.
After developing and refining
her service and teaching skills with
the Transvaal Education Department,
she spent ten (10) years as an Account
Executive with the Chanel Corporation.
Her responsibilities with
Chanel included establishment and
management of customer service
relationships between Chanel and its
retail distribution network within
South Africa.
In addition, she was
responsible for training and
development of the sales and
distribution staff for this
internationally prominent company.
As a result of her success in
increasing sales and market share, she
received recognition by the Chanel CEO
in London.
Following
her immigration to the United States
in 1992, she provided administrative,
participant liaison, and logistical
assistance to Dr. Gordon with the
Dallas-based clinical trials.
Subsequently, she was
instrumental in the design,
development, and implementation of the
subsequent Savannah-based clinical
research and opening of the Company's
first retail site in Savannah.
Her responsibilities for the
Company have also included facility
design, quality control, and various
marketing, advertising, and
participant communication materials.
