Board of Directors and Executive Officers
HAROLD E. WRIGHT
Harold
E. Wright has
been a member of the Company's Board
of Directors since 1997 and has been
involved with the Company since July
1997, and he was instrumental in
assisting in the initial formation of
the Company.
Mr. Wright was a founder and
principal in two public companies -
Extended Stay America, Inc. (NYSE) and
Homestead Village, Inc. (AMEX) - and
he was Senior Vice President of
Extended Stay America.
In
1994, he started Extended Stay America
with former Blockbuster Video
Chairman, H. Wayne Huizenga and
President, George D. Johnson.
Beginning with a real estate
and construction department with four
employees, Mr. Wright organized and
directed the site acquisition and
construction of over 150 company-owned
hotels in two years.
In
1989, Mr. Wright founded Homestead
Properties, Inc., which, with
financial partner Security Capital
Property Trust, began a national
development of 75 Homestead Village
hotels.
In 1994, Mr. Wright sold his
interest in the company.
Mr.
Wright is a 1965 graduate of Duke
University.
