Julie
Blakely, BS:

Mrs. Blakely has
a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and
Nutrition from the California Polytechnic State
University in San Luis Obispo. She has worked in the
field of nutrition and Health Education since 1986.
Prior to joining INTERXVENT, Julie worked
with medical groups in Southern California providing
classes and individual counseling on hypertension,
cholesterol, diabetes and weight management for
adults and children.

Robert Skiljan, MS, BS:

Mr.
Skiljan received a Bachelors Degree in Biology from S.E.
Missouri University, a Masters in Administration from the
University of Notre Dame and a Masters in Exercise Science
from Georgia Southern University. In, addition, Mr. Skiljan
has a Master Certificate in Gerontology from Armstrong
Atlantic State University. His responsibilities include
management of the INTERxVENTMD NETWORK
in the Savannah, Georgia area, Mentoring and
assisting with community outreach through special projects.

John Thiel, MS:

Mr. Thiel
received his master’s degree in Exercise Science from
Georgia State University in 1982. In 1993, Mr. Thiel
received the Distinguished Alumni Award in Health, Physical
Education, Recreation, and Dance from the College of
Education at Georgia State.He’s a certified Exercise Program
Director and Exercise Specialist from the American College
of Sports Medicine.
Currently, he serves
as an INTERxVENT Mentor and coordinates the INTERxVENT
MD Network in the Atlanta, Georgia area.

Kimberly
Allen,
R.D., L.D., BS:

|

Mrs. Allen was born and raised in Cedartown, Georgia. She
earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics from
Georgia Southern University in 2000. Kimberly completed her
Dietetic Internship to become a Registered Dietitian at
Southern Regional Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia in May
of 2001. Her experience includes assessing nutritional
status of patients in various clinical settings, providing
recommended nutritional therapy, and patient education on an
inpatient and outpatient basis.

Thomas J
Savona, MA

Tom Savona has over 25
years experience in helping people adopt healthy lifestyles
in both hospital and community settings. Five years ago he
founded a health promotion company in order to deliver the
INTERVENT program to individuals residing in the Hudson
Valley Region in New York. For the past 3 years he has
served as a mentor for INTERVENT USA, Inc as a
member of their call center. Tom obtained his Bachelor's
Degree from SUNY Cortland, and his Master's Degree in
Applied Physiology from Columbia University. He is a member
of the American College of Sports Medicine and the American
Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
He was a founding member of the Executive Board of the New
York State Association for Cardiac & Pulmonary
Rehabilitation. Tom currently resides in Montgomery, NY with
his wife Jeanne.

Megan
Zamora, BS

Megan Zamora was born and raised just
outside of Seattle, Washington. She earned her Bachelor of
Science degree in Exercise Science from Columbus State
University in Columbus, Georgia in 2006. Megan completed her
internship at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika,
Alabama with a focus on Cardiac and Pulmonary
Rehabilitation. Her experience includes exercise testing and
prescription, exercise training, and a background in basic
health and nutrition.
