INTERxVENTUSA
Offers On-site Programs for Select

Business Group Companies
Studies
show that morale and productivity are
raised when employees are able to
participate in on-site health
promotion programs. INTERxVENT
@ Work shows management how they can
demonstrate to their employees that
they care about their health and
well-being.
By providing their employees
with on-site health promotion
programs, they are creating a work
environment that supports healthy
lifestyles, encouraging higher
productivity, and reducing the cost of
health care.
At
present, on-site programs are provided
at these worksites:

The
INTERxVENT Mentor
INTERxVENT
is not a “quick fix” solution, but
a partnership between YOU and our team
of health professionals to achieve
YOUR health and lifestyle goals
A
key to INTERxVENT’s
success is the health professional, or
“Mentor,”.who supports and guides
the participant through the program.
Unlike other wellness programs
that have programming efforts targeted
toward groups of people, INTERxVENT
utilizes an individualized approach.
The INTERxVENT
mentors tailor the lifestyle
management and cardiovascular risk
reduction programs to the specific
needs of each participant.
The
mentor:
·
Provides a credible, healthy
role model
·
Coaches, listens, negotiates,
motivates
·
Facilitates behavior change
·
Teaches self-care skills
·
Protects confidentiality and
privacy
Mentors
are selected from several health care
professions, including nurses,
exercise physiologists, dietitians,
and health educators. They are comfortable dealing with a vast array of health
issues and topics, from writing a
behavioral contract to helping someone
give up cigarettes to helping someone
train for their first marathon.
Using their clinical and
technical skills, the mentor provides
information and advice that is
trusted.
