is the INTERxVENTMD
Network?
The
INTERxVENTMD Network
is a national network of physicians
that enables its members to provide
their patients with a credible,
affordable evidence-based program for
lifestyle modification and CVD risk
reduction. INTERxVENTMD
Network allows physicians to
generate additional revenues without
burdening them. Physicians generally
do not have the time, resources, or
infrastructure for the provision of
comprehensive preventive services
(especially lifestyle management). The
network arrangement allows physicians
to generate revenue without creating a
time, staff or expense burden,
enhances physician involvement in
therapeutic lifestyle change
management, and assists physicians in
managing their patients to “goal
levels”, consistent with the
national clinical guidelines of groups
such as the American Heart
Association, American Academy of
Cardiology, American Association of
Cardiovascular and Pulmonary
Rehabilitation, JNC-VII, NCEP, American
College of Sports Medicine, and the
U.S. Preventive Services Task Force.
